Pub mural remembers the achievements of Captain Sir Tom Moore

Breakfast on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

We've been hearing from those of you who have been inspired by Captain Sir Tom. The 100-year old inspired so many of us in a positive way over the past year. Across the UK - landmarks including the Blackpool Tower, Wembley Stadium and the London Eye are illuminated in his honour. Locally, we heard that County Hall will be flying their flags at half mast. Last year a pub in Quorn commissioned a mural to be painted of Sir Tom to remember his achievements. BBC Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter spoke to Dave Lill, the owner of the White Horse.
