Tributes have poured in for a former BBC Radio Leicester presenter who’s passed away after catching the coronavirus. Sujata Barot worked here at Radio Leicester, the Asian network and BBC Radio 2. In recent years she had played an active role in the community, also stood as an independent candidate in the Leicester East constituency during the 2017 General elections. Nirmala Bhojani was a good friend of Sujata's and spoke to Jo Bostock.
