Food parcels: 'I wouldn't say it would hit more than a fiver'
Breakfast on BBC Radio LeicesterAvailable for over a year
A Leicester woman has told BBC Radio Leicester it's put her in a humiliating position to complain about the contents of food hampers she received instead of receiving free school meals. Danielle (not her real name) told Jimmy Carpenter the food parcels which should contain £30 of food for the week, for her two children, contained ingredients which she estimates cost around £5. Leicestershire County Council who administers the scheme says it'll investigate 'immediately'.
