Dancer and choreographer Aakash Odedra awarded a British Empire Medal

The New Year's Honours List is out and, this year, it recognises hundreds of people for their work during the coronavirus pandemic. Locally more than 20 people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have been named on the Queen's New Year Honours list. Among them is award-winning British Asian dancer and choreographer Aakash Odedra who has been awarded a British Empire Medal. He spoke to BBC Radio Leicester's Ady Dayman.
