May's Wood: Queen guitarist's Bere Regis woodland seven years on

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

It's seven years since Dr Brian May planted the first tree in May's Wood in Bere Regis. The idea was to plant 100,000 trees on 63 hectares of land which the Queen guitarist bought, to save it from development. Chief executive of Dr Brian May's Save Me Trust, Anne Bummer, told BBC Radio Solent's Dorset breakfast presenter Steve Harris how the woodland area looks now.
