Nana Nade has retired from King Alfred's School after 45 years

Breakfast on BBC Radio Somerset

Available for over a year

Nadine Garbett has retired from the King Alfred's School in Highbridge after working there for 45 years. She's been serving school dinners to generations of families across Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge. Nadine has been known as 'Nana Nade' for many years in the school community. To mark her retirement, a kitchen at the school has also been renamed to ‘Nana Nade’s Kitchen’. She had a chat with Claire Carter on our BBC Radio Somerset's Breakfast show about her 45 years at the school.
