Finding out about the work of The Florrie

As part of our Make a Difference campaign we are finding out about charities which are supported by Community Foundation for Merseyside. In this interview we hear from the Florence Institute - or the Florrie - in the Dingle. The foundation's Covid 19 Community Support Fund has helped it to deliver 90 care packages a week, including food, cleaning products and other essentials. The money has helped with personal protection equipment and volunteers expenses. Laurence Fenlon is the Florrie's Events and Business manager and he has been chatting to Salty.
