Paddleboarding making big splash

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Participation in paddle-boarding has taken off in recent weeks. It's been one of the fastest growing sports in recent years anyway - but, with warm weather, gyms only just re-opening, and the easing of lockdown, it's become even more popular. It offers a connection with nature, an opportunity to keep fit, and easy social distancing on the water. BBC Radio Solent reporter Laurence Herdman has been looking into a sport that's accessible for all ages and all abilities. He met up with stand up paddleboard (SUP) enthusiasts, Mark Hughes from Dorchester and friends Chris Randall and Sam Waite from Weymouth.
