Female-led businesses hit by 'sexist' lockdown easing - Dorset beauty clinic

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

A Dorchester businesswoman says 'small, female-led businesses' have been unfairly hit by 'sexist' lockdown easing. Louisa Franzen, from Winterborne Abbas, owns High Brow cosmetic clinic in Brewery Square. Beauty salons, spas, tattoo parlours and nail bars can reopen today, but many - Like Louia's clinic - are not because face treatments are not allowed, under the restrictions, which is the bulk of their business. Louisa told BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris that she says the restrictions are "unfair" for the beauty sector.
