As the NHS celebrates its 72nd birthday Andrew has plenty of reasons to be grateful. Mum has a seizure, caused by brain damage linked to her vascular dementia. Thankfully carers are with her and call 999. She gets excellent hospital treatment, but it's unclear for several days whether she'll ever be able to go home again.
