The premiere of 'Worldes Blis' was at the BBC Proms in 1969, and the performance encouraged many to walk out, and many of those that remained to boo. The complete lack of conventional harmonies make for a challenging listen, but, even with a somewhat dark feel and apocalyptic feel to it, it’s piece that can bring rewards to an adventurous listener looking for something unusual.
