This work by Hong Kong-born (but long-time-Londoner) Yiu, was written in 2008 but only received its first public performance in 2019 during the BBC Symphony Orchestra China tour. Largely self-taught before 2010, Yui melds traditional Chinese instruments with modern, European-influenced composing styles and creates wholly original music.
