Smile, music for the film 'Modern Times'

Covered by the likes of Nat King Cole, Bobby McFerrin and Michael Jackson and even included in the TV series Glee, 'Smile' was the theme tune to Chaplin’s 1936 film Modern Times. The words were added in 1954, based on lines and themes from the film. The poignant lyrics inspired by Chaplin’s famous character, the tramp, should be advice taken by everyone.
