Download goes virtual

The organiser of the Download Festival has told BBC Radio Leicester how happy he is with the support from the bands that were originally meant to be performing this weekend. The rock festival, which was meant to be getting underway at Donington Park today, has instead been made into a virtual festival due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be broadcasting sets and interviews with the bands on their YouTube channel. Festival organiser Andy Copping told Jimmy Carpenter how he got the bands to get involved.
