Rupert Creed tells the story of the Hull women who campaigned for improved safety in the fishing industry after the loss of three Hull trawlers and their crews in 1968. This archive documentary was originally broadcast on BBC Radio Four in 1994 and features the stories of Lillian Bilocca, Yvonne Blenkinsop, Mary Denness and Christine Smallbone. The programme also features Lillian's son Ernie. The programme was originally produced by Amanda Mares.
