Gillingham Leisure Centre 'ripped off' by insurance during pandemic

Alan Waistell is the general manager of RiversMeet Leisure Centre in Gillingham, which has been closed during lockdown. Alan told BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris that insurers say the cover hasn't been triggered because it doesn't have the right cover for a pandemic Insurance firm RSA Group say whilst they know it's a "difficult time" and the outcome is "disappointing" the centre's policy only "covers forced closure by local or health authorities in response to a localised outbreak of disease".
