Johnny’s wife Valerie had a stroke in 2016 – and is being looked after at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. He wanted to repay the kindness of the nurses who are looking after Valerie by bringing them some Easter Eggs – and when he popped into a local supermarket to buy them, it turned out the store wanted to do its bit as well. Johnny told his story to BBC Radio Cornwall’s Laurence Reed.
