Sir Malcolm Arnold won both an Oscar and a Grammy award for the score for Bridge on the River Kwai, the WWII film about allied prisoners of war. The triumphant River Kwai March is a highlight; orchestrated as a companion to the famous Colonel Boogie March by Mitch Miller which is whistled by the prisoners in the film.
