How to reassure children anxious about climate change

World Update

Available for over a year

Children's nightmares have changed with the times. A BBC survey suggests that one in five British children has had a nightmare, or is being kept awake at night, worrying about climate change. Newsround found that three quarters of young people are worried about the environment, and less than half trust adults to do anything about it. We spoke to Laverne Antrobus, a child psychologist who advises parents on how to help children cope with their fears. (Photo: A girl looking at her phone. Credit: Getty Images.)
