Joy Morgan’s family describes how she was a loving girl until she joined an obscure religious group. Joy was a student midwife who went missing on Boxing Day 2018. Her mum Carol says she was a caring daughter who wanted to go on to become a doctor. But then Joy joined a controversial church and started to call her sister a demon because she was mixed race. Joy had been missing for two months and her family were desperate for information. Then they receive a call from the police that changes everything. Presented by Cherry Wilson, The Murder of Joy Morgan is a six-part series that follows Joy’s family for 12 months as they try to make sense of what’s happened.
