Shedding a tear at Green Shed's celebratory tenth year

On Thursday 19 September, the Green Shed held an Open Day to mark its 10th year of community support. Run by Tricuro and based at Castle Gardens in Sherborne, the facility offers wood and craft work, along with gardening activities, to adults with dementia, memory problems and learning disabilities.. The atmosphere at The Green Shed has developed into a place where people feel instantly at home and included – work, companionship and support underpin this successful community project. BBC Radio Solent reporter Laurence Herdman chatted with clients and met Castle Gardens owner Mike Burks and Co-ordinator Barry Watts.
