Michael Ebdon is now in his eighties. Every morning the man affectionately known as 'the honorable mayor of Swyre' stands on the side of the road to wave to people in their cars by the junction to Litton Cheney and Pucknowle on the B3157 coast road in west Dorset. BBC Radio Solent first met Michael two years ago and a video of his long-standing daily ritual went viral on social media. Last week, we renewed old acquaintances to ask him about the Summer Solstice and the longest day.
