For the third year running Brighton Festival has worked in partnership with Brighton People’s Theatre, Due East and steering committee made up of local residents to enable their vision of a community festival come to life. This year the communities have taken control of the event, bringing more free family-friendly theatre, dance, music, games, activities and workshops to East Brighton. This is the story of Our Place East Brighton, told by the people who produced and attended the event.
