YouTube allows County Lines track by drug dealer Frosty

BBC Radio Surrey Drive at 5

Available for over a year

YouTube has admitted making money from a convicted drug dealer's video of him rapping about his crimes in Guildford, Surrey. Theo Beckford, 20, who calls himself Frosty, has recorded a track called COUNTY LINES about his gang's drug deals and his arrest. It has been viewed more than 2,400,000 times. YouTube has told BBC Surrey the video does not violate its community guidelines, but does breach its advertising rules, so it has now "demonetised" it. The company said revenue raised would have been very low and that most of it went to Beckford. He was jailed in April for 32 months for supplying crack cocaine and heroin.
