Reading FC: Moore pleased with improved defence under Gomes

Weekend Kick-Off

Available for over a year

Royals defender Liam Moore feels his department has improved since Gomes took charge. And he says one big part of that is the partnership he has forged with on loan defender Matt Miazga. "My longest run in the side with one set centre-half was seven games before Matt arrived," Moore told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "He only came in January and I think we've beaten that already. "I think we bounce each off each other on the pitch, the covering angles are good, we know each other strengths, and so far the partnership's going well." And Moore says he genuinely doesn't know who Reading are playing between now and the final day of the season, except for the next game. "I don't look any further than the next game. "The next game's the most important game."
