Playhatch's latest art mystery

Sarah Walker

Available for over a year

If there was ever a story that wouldn't be out of place on April Fools, this is it. If you find yourself travelling through Sonning on your morning commute - you're probably well aware the village has frequently been the scene of a number of mystery objects. Going back over the last few years there's been a postbox installed on the side of Sonning bridge, a park bench floating on the Thames, and a number of other items place at the centre of the Playhatch Roundabout. BBC Radio Berkshire's Shira Kilgallon was there for us. "I am standing just across from the roundabout at the moment, and there is a rocket that has crashed into the middle of it. "There is grass and mud all around the base of it... it's about double the size of a normal bollard. "He's Berkshire's own Banksy."
