Poking fun at Hitler in 1930s Finland

Before the Moomins, Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson satirised Hitler in her drawings for the satirical magazine Garm. A dangerous move to make in the late 1930s as Finland had recently sided with the Nazis during World War 2 hoping to push the Soviets out of the north of their country.
