From the Archives - Henry Cooper

Sportscene

Available for over a year

Our own Richard Collinson has spent more than a quarter-of-a-century interviewing some of the biggest names in sport for the BBC here in the Channel Islands. And for years, Rich kept the old tapes in his attic - where they sat, gathering dust, largely forgotten by everyone. But now, we've decided to restore some of those from the archive - and every so often, we're sharing them with you to remember some of the big names who have visited this part of the world over the years. Today, we're going to hear from the man who personified British boxing in the 20th century - the late, great Henry Cooper. We'll warn you that the audio on this is a little bit scratchy, but we think it's still worth a listen - and there was only one thing Rich wanted to ask Henry about when they say down together.
