Chris and Tania - Chosen Mum and Daughter

Retired teacher Chris and Tania call each other 'chosen mum and daughter' after first meeting when Tania arrived in the UK as a refugee from central Africa. She fled Congo, taking responsibility for her two younger siblings after their father was murdered and their mother was arrested in the violence. Chris was working with refugees and asylum seekers and supported the family.
