Bournemouth Hospital 'extremely busy' but 'dealing with winter pressures'

Bournemouth hospital has told us it's been 'extremely busy' this winter, but has been 'dealing with the pressures'. We've been speaking to Associate Director for Older People and Integrated Care at Bournemouth Hospital Cherry McCubbin. Both Bournemouth and Poole missed the 95% target for patients being treated or admitted within four hours of arrival at A&E in November. Dorset County Council did meet that target, last month. South Western Ambulance say demand for their service is likely to peak between Saturday 22 December and Boxing Day.
