The intrigue surrounding the arrest in Canada of a senior executive with the Chinese communications giant, Huawei, deepened this week with the detention two Canadian businessmen were detained in China. Meng Wanzhou was arrested two weeks ago at Vancouver International Airport. the request of the US government, and now potentially faces extradition to the States on fraud charges linked to the alleged violation of sanctions by a Huawei subsidiary company on Iran.
