Available for over a year
Jane, now 28, wasn't diagnosed with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) until she was 14. She tells Tina about her experiences in school and how being undiagnosed affected her as a child. She discusses how she manages now as an adult and why she doesn't let her disability define her. The UK has the 4th highest level of prenatal alcohol use worldwide, yet rates of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder are unknown. In Jane's experience, FASD is still often misunderstood. She speaks out now to raise awareness for children and others with the disorder.
