Jose Antonio Vargas is an undocumented immigrant from the Philippines. Vargas has lived in the US without official papers since he was 12. That term, undocumented, follows him and has become part of his identity. Today, Vargas continues to think about his identity in America which is something that he's been very aware of since his first days in the US.
