Bombarded by flying faeces - an 81 year old widow says she's trapped in her own home by bird poo

The Nolan Show

Available for over a year

An 81 year old woman from Moneymore says she's trapped in her own home because of bird poo. Mary Devlin's home on the Drummullan Road is bombarded with flying faeces - so much so she can't put her washing out or have her grandchildren visit... And she's resorted to tying bin bags on the roof and fence to keep the birds at bay. Mrs Devlin is recently widowed and has heart problems - and says she's asked NIE to help her but she can't afford their costly solution. Our reporter, Nicola Weir, went to visit Mary.
