As part of Queens Film Theatre marking its 50th anniversary this month, filmmaker Brian Henry Martin will deliver his A-to-Z of Belfast Cinema charting the silver screens history here this weekend. When the QFT came into existence there were dozens of cinemas in Belfast. Here's a snapshot of the glittering history of some of the most memorable of those.
