The record shop where nothing is for sale

Mary Anne Hobbs

Available for over a year

Artist and musician Ted Riederer has taken his pop-up record shop 'Never Records' to Kansas City, and will be cutting live performances from the public, straight to vinyl using his mobile record-making lab. The aim of the project, which is part of the Open Spaces Kansas City Arts experience, is to show the power of music and record shops to unite, educate and uplift communities through recorded sound. The music in the crates will be created in the store with anyone who wants to take part, but nothing is for sale. Never Records is all about a transaction of ideas, a shared musical experience.
