Afghanistan has been at war for the majority of First Lieutenant Erica MacSwan’s lifetime who is now serving with the US army in Kandahar. Lieutenant MacSwan was just seven years old in when the 9/11 attacks happened, but she recalls that September day vividly. (First Lt. Erica MacSwan is an intelligence officer with the US army.
