Meet Hollywood’s fake language inventor

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

Christine Schreyer is a linguist at the University of British Columbia. She created an entirely new language for a new film called Alpha. It's set 20 thousand years ago, during the last ice age. Prof. Schreyer also created languages for Power Rangers and Man of Steel. She uses her knowledge of linguistic anthropology to add meaning to her invented languages.
