Weymouth convenience store manager coping with shoplifting every day

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Offenders stealing goods under the value of £200 can plead guilty by post or face the magistrates court. Dorset police will only attend incidents if the safety of staff is at risk, and the shoplifter is still on the premises. The force also told us it works with Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and the local authorities around its response to tackling shoplifting as well as anti-social behaviour.
