Why do so many Asians seem to prefer fairer skin?

Will fair skin always be seen as more beautiful in comparison to dark skin in the Asian community? A survey commissioned by the BBC Asian Network suggests that 58% of British Asians think that fair skin is valued more in their communities. Qasa Alom spoke to guests and callers on The Big Debate to hear their views and experiences of 'colourism'.
