SS Shieldhall

Lou Hannan

Available for over a year

A generation ago, a ship used for transporting sewage and sludge was coming to the end of its useful life on Southampton. Rather than be scrapped, SS Shieldhall was saved by a band of volunteers and now their charity, Solent Steam Packet are celebrating 30 years of ownership. Neil Sackley has been on board to meet some of the volunteers who look after her.
