Does it make sense to switch to electric?

CrowdScience

Available for over a year

Dr David Reichmuth from the Union of Concerned Scientists explains that in countries like the United States where the majority of electricity comes from fossil fuels, owning an electric vehicle will on average generate fewer greenhouse gas emissions than a modern petrol or diesel vehicle. And the best thing about having an EV he says, is that the car will become even greener over time as more electricity is generated from renewables.
