Long Interview: Peggy Seeger

Good Morning Scotland

Available for over a year

She grew up listening to Leadbelly and Woody Guthrie singing in her own living room, the half-sister of American folk singer Pete Seeger and the life partner of Ewan McColl who wrote The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face for her. Now, at the age of 82, Peggy Seeger is telling her own story in a memoir - alongside a CD of the songs which have been her milestones over the years. Our arts correspondent Pauline McLean caught up with her in Glasgow recently at the Aye Write festival.
