Phil Kennedy

Available for over a year

Joint manager Neil Baker gives his reaction to Slough's play-off final win. After a 2-1 over King's Lynn in the Southern Premier League play-off final, Slough will be playing National League South football next season. "We were massive underdogs today," Baker told BBC Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley and Phil Kennedy. "We gave everything and won it in the last minute as well. "It's an amazing evening, I'm going to enjoy this." And Baker added that the last few weeks of the season have been tricky for his side. "It's been really tough, I think that makes it even better. "In our last 16 league games, 12 were away from home, and at times we were playing three games a week."
