A van attack in the Canadian city of Toronto killed 10 people and left 14 injured when its driver mounted a pavement in the northern outskirts of Toronto and began ploughing into pedestrians. In its wake, a 25-year-old man, Alek Minassion, has been charged with 10 counts of first degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder.
