Street loses post deliveries after dog bite

The Royal Mail is refusing to deliver to a street in Guildford after a postwoman was bitten by a dog there in September 2017. She needed hospital treatment. Everyone in Medlar Close has to pick up their post from the sorting office in the town centre. The Royal Mail told BBC Surrey deliveries are suspended until it get assurances that the dog has been secured. Its owner says some of his neighbours are disgruntled and he has asked the Royal Mail to meet "to remedy the situation".
