Reading FC: Edwards issues rallying cry to fans

Royals midfielder Dave Edwards wants the fans behind the team for the season run-in. Edwards understands just how big the last nine games are for Reading as they seek to secure their league status. "It's important the fans stay with us," Edwards told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "I know they're going to be frustrated. "Going into these last couple of months of the season we need them more than ever." And Edwards insists he is still enjoying his football. "I love football. "I always want to try and play and do well. "It's obviously tough when you're on a run like we are at the moment, but football's a funny old game."
