BBC Introducing

Available for over a year

Alex Rainsford is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter, from Bromsgrove, whose songs have chilled out melodies with a powerful edge. Or as he says: "Think Ben Howard's passion meets Mumford & Sons' power". Some of his recent highlights include sets at Worthy Farm's Glastonbury to Devon's Oceanfest, sharing stages with the likes of Bastille, Gabrielle Aplin & Willy Mason. After shows in Europe and playing tour support for Brother & Bones he's hitting this year's festival season hard with his new EP 'Gone Away'.
