Barry Bennell, a youth football coach at Manchester City and Crew Alexandra clubs has been convicted of 43 counts of sexual assaults on 11 boys aged between 8 and 15. It is understood that 86 others have come forward to say they too were victims. Steve Walters was regarded as a prodigiously talented midfielder for Crewe Alexandra and appeared to have a glittering football career ahead of him. He is now 46 years old and did not speak about the abuse he endured for a year. Razia Iqbal spoke to him from outside Liverpool Crown Court.
