BBC Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker was joined in the studio by former forensic physician Dr Michael Wilks to learn more about the world of forensics, and what the job involves. Dr Michael Wilks: "Identifying who it is that's your first job as a forensic scientist, DNA testing, toxicology, checking what drugs people may have taken, and building a picture of that person. "It requires such meticulous attention to detail, and you have to keep such good records. "These cold cases are often so long since the event, the victim doesn't want to go back and revisit it."
